SilverDust users can import events from SharePoint calendars to their BlackBerry calendars and edit and add new events using the SilverDust interface.

Secure Mobile Access
An extra level of security allows your server administrator to easily decide who can or cannot have remote access to a SharePoint Document Library. For example, a users who can read and write files from a SharePoint Document Library while on the organization's intranet may be restricted by SilverDust to read-only status while using their mobile devices.
SharePoint Document Management Features
If a SharePoint document library is configured to allow or require check-out/check-in and versioning, the users will be allowed or required to do these tasks on a BlackBerry smartphone.
Resumable Uploads and Downloads
File transfers performed through SilverDust can be resumed if interrupted. Simply attempt the download or upload again and SilverDust will start from where it left off.
Search
Search sites, document libraries, and lists by file name or content using SharePoint search and indexing.
Custom SharePoint Views
SharePoint views are displayed when browsing a document library or list. Custom views and properties are also supported.
Remote Wipe
If a BlackBerry smartphone device is lost, the system administrator can easily delete all files that have been downloaded using SilverDust and prevent further access from that smartphone.
Provisioning
SilverDust Portals are provisioned to a user's device remotely using a server-side push, allowing the system administrator to easily decide who should have access to Sites, Document Libraries, and Lists and what each user should see.
Folder Synchronization
Changes made to SharePoint Sites, Document Libraries, and Lists through the SilverDust client are immediately reflected within SharePoint. Files checked out to SilverDust users and changes made by SilverDust users can be seen by all SharePoint desktop users.
Efficient network usage through file Compresssion
All communication between the client and server, including transfer of files, is compressed using GZip. This speeds up transfers and reduces communication costs.
Load Sharing and NLB / Web Farm Support
For high volume sites and redundancy, multiple SilverDust Servers can share client requests. No special configuration is required, as all state information is stored in a central database.
