Access to files and resources from a mobile device allows employees to leverage existing company resources no matter where they are, enabling immediate responses to issues that arise which require information on an internal network. However, the mobile environment also introduces several unique security considerations which until recently have caused most administrators to restrict mobile access to internal resources. SilverDust introduces a new system which permits mobile access to files on the internal network without compromising the security of those resources.
