When creating a DataField, The name of a field defaults to the name of the new field SourceField unless the field is a DataField, or a field with that name already exists in the table. All DataFields will have a unique number appended to the end of it to create a unique name. All other field types will use the SourceField name. If a DataField name was changed later to be the name of the SourceField, a RowLabel, ColumnLabel, or PageField created from the same SourceField will have a unique number appended to the end. |
