If the {{Shape}} is directly within a [Worksheet|Worksheet], the width is in points \(1/72 inch\).  If the {{Shape}} is within [Chartsheet|Chartsheet], the width is a percentage of the chart's width \(0\-100\).

If you set a shape's width \(or [Shape.Height|Shape.Height]\) to a value read from a spreadsheet, the shape may lose precision due to the way Excel stores shape dimensions.
