Designer.NET Word - About

The About dialog opens when you click OfficeWriter Designer .NET > Help > About OfficeWriter. It displays the version of the Designer .NET as well as the copyright information for SoftArtisans Inc.

Designer .NET Word - Import Template

The Import Template dialog opens when you click the Import Template button on the OfficeWriter Designer .NET application tab. It allows you to replace the existing template associated with the RDL file with an DOC, DOCX, or DOCM file that was previously created.

Designer .NET Word - Open Report

Open Report dialog opens when you select OfficeWriter Designer .NET > Open > Open from Server. It allows you to open RDL files that have already been created and saved to a remote SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report server. RDLs for SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 and higher can be opened.

Designer .NET Word - Open Report from Disk

The open report from disk dialog opens when you select OfficeWriter Designer .NET > Open > Open from Disk. It allows you to open RDL files that have already been created and saved to disk. RDLs for SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 and higher can be opened.

Designer .NET Word - Publish Report

The Publish Report dialog appears when you click OfficeWriter Designer .NET > Save > Deploy to Remote Server. This action submits the report file to the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report server where the SSRS reports are stored.

Designer .NET Word - Report Properties

The Report Properties dialog displays properties that are specific to the report, for example, the Author or Description fields. The dialog is available by clicking Properties in the OfficeWriter Designer .NET toolbar.

Designer .NET Word - Save To Disk

The Save to Disk dialog opens when you select OfficeWriter Designer .NET > Save > Save to Disk. It allows you to save your current RDL to disk and sets the format of the report when it is exported.

Designer .NET Word - View Parameters

The View Parameters dialog appears if you try to view a report with OfficeWriter Designer .NET > View and the report contains parameters. The dialog will prompt you to enter values for the parameters.
